Not Your Mothers Book… On Being a Stupid Kid Book

January 20, 2013 by Classystaff

Back in the day, when you were a kid, I am sure that you did some crazy things that your parents never found out about. Some were crazy fun and some may have been really stupid! I know I have plenty of stories in my past that I have never told anyone, even to this day! LOL My husband, on the other hand, loves telling about his antics. Personally, I think that gives license to the kid to try out same dumb things on their own, not that they won’t I’m sure haha! Here is a fun collection of crazy antics from folks all over the US and Canada that is sure to bring back some memories!

Don’t let your kids read this book! There’s nothing worse than getting caught with your hand in the proverbial cookie jar, yet alone confessing to all those stupid things you did when you were a kid and lived to tell about. Yes, you know where the bodies are buried.

Inside, you’ll read stories about crazy capers, double-dog dares and outlandish adventures—those youthful escapades you never shared with your parents! Thus the reason to hide this book from your youngsters and especially your teenagers . . . you might give them ideas!

Exactly 59 authors from all over the US and Canada contributed original stories that have been published in the newly released book, Not Your Mother’s Book . . . On Being a Stupid Kid, the lead title in the edgy new entertainment series by creators Dahlynn and Ken McKowen.

More Smart Kids—Stupid Stuff

My Thoughts:
Wow, kids do some crazy stuff! I am mild compared to some of the stories in this humorous book! My hubby’s stories should definitely be included in this collection of antics. LOL. This collection of stories is not something you want to share with your kids as some of it does include some adult language, and rightly so. It is a funny glimpse of what kids will do when egged on by siblings, friends, schoolmates, your own crazy brain or by your out-of-control hormones. There are some funny situations in this book!

This book sure brought back some memories! The days of being outside all day long; living on your trusty bike, or your brothers, that was 3 times to big and just goofing off in the neighborhood with your friends. Yes, those were the days; many of the stories I never told my parents – ever! LOL Why make them worry, right? Although I do remember getting in trouble several times because the neighbors would narc on us. grrr

For a fun, relaxing read and a trip or two down memory lane, grab this book. You will enjoy the stories and maybe, just maybe, want to start sharing a tale or two with your own kids – or at least your parents! LOL
