Back in November of 2012 my husband and I invested in new wall-to-wall carpet for three rooms in our new home. On top of that, we own four beautiful area rugs, two rug runners and a few accent rugs which are scattered throughout our new home.
Now that we are fully into our new home, I noticed that the movers got some dirt and grime on one of the new carpets in our guest bedroom. Ugh! Now that I have noticed it, I have been looking around for area rug cleaning and just want to pay a professional to come in and clean it.
With that said, I am looking for a company that is eco-friendly and doesn’t use harsh chemicals in their rug cleaning. With a 3 1/2 year old toddler running around my house, I don’t want any harsh chemicals used that may or may not hurt her. Furthermore, we will be getting a new baby kitten next month and I don’t want any cleaning chemicals to harm the kitten either!
I did some online searches and I found that there are eco-friendly and green carpet cleaning companies out there and we happen to have one here in our city! I wrote down all of their information and come Monday, I am going to give them a call. I was pleasantly surprise at their rates which are equivalent to those of other carpet cleaning companies.
I would like to know if any of you have ever used a green carpet cleaning company and if so, were you pleased with the results? Did your carpets/rugs come out clean? Did they smell good afterwards?
