How many of you enjoy eating sticky buns? Our family loves them…especially if they’re homemade or purchased from a local bakery. You can sometimes find them at the local grocery in the bakery department too! Sticky buns are a sweet treat…an indulgence that we enjoy.
With that said…have you ever pan-fried your sticky buns? I’m talking about completely cooled and done ones!!! We like to put a little bit of butter (not margarine) into a frying pan to melt it. Then place pieces of the sticky bun into the melted butter and pan fry for just 2-3 minutes over low heat. You don’t want to cook or burn them. Basically just warm them up with the melted butter.
Sure…you can melt butter in a microwave and drizzle it over-the-top but trust me…there’s a huge difference if you pan fry them on the stove-top!!! Haven’t tried this method yet? Oh my gosh, please do! They’re absolutely delicious when prepared this way!!! We’re hooked!
