Favorite Appetizers When Dining Out

We older and enjoy dining out at least once a week. At our age we find it more convenient than always cooking a meal for two. The majority of the time when we dine out it’s for lunch or dinner and it’s almost always for a hot (not cold) meal.

When we dine out we’re always looking to try new type’s of appetizers or twists on a favorite classic. Sure…you can always get french fries or onion rings but we get tired of the same old thing! These days restaurants are always trying to out-do one another by coming up with new ways to enjoy your favorite classics.

For example…we recently tried french fries that were seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. A few weeks later at another restaurant we tried their sweet potato fries that were drizzled with a warm maple syrup. Both wre delicious! Then just last week we enjoyed a giant soft pretzel that arrived on a serving platter with 4 different dips. Yes…dipping soft pretzels into a dip is a hot trend around here! Highly recommend it!
