Over the holidays I was looking for the perfect Christmas gift for my 4 1/2 year old nephew and let me tell you, I struck gold when I found the Rocketship Projection Alarm Clock by Discovery Kids. Even though this item is geared towards little boys, I can certainly see this item in a little girl’s room too…after all, little girl’s love things that have to do with outerspace too!
The Rocketship Projection Alarm Clock is made for children ages 3 and up and it projects images & time onto your child’s bedroom ceiling. It will project galaxies, astronauts, planets and more!
The twin projection lenses beam digital clock and 4 celestial images onto the ceiling or wall. There is an image selector so your child can select the image that he or she wants to see. It features a built-in alarm clock with on/off function. The 12/24 hour LCD clock features the day, month and year. You can display pictures with or without the time clock.
This is a cordless projection alarm clock so you will need to supply 3 AAA batteries which are not included. If desired, you could purchase an AC adapter cord which is NOT included.
About 2 weeks before Christmas, I gave this nifty Rocketship Projection Alarm Clock to my nephew Seth who is into everything outerspace related. His bedroom is decked out in rocketships and planetary decor, so I knew he would love this projection clock.
Once we showed him how to work it, we turned off all of the lights and within minutes, Seth was in pure planetary heaven with his new projection clock! Now every day when he takes a nap or goes to bed at night, he can look at all of the space designs that project on his bedroom ceiling. For a boy who is 4 1/2 years old, he can work this projection alarm clock perfectly fine all on his own! Yeah!!!
