I love my house, but I have a decorating problem. I am not the most creative person when it comes to putting colors together, finding the right accents, and finding the perfect furniture arrangement. Don’t get me wrong, my house is warm, comforting, and homey, but a designer showcase it is not.
Our walls are all painted and some art is on the wall, but the space above the couch is pretty big and we haven’t found exactly what we want to fill the space. We found some nice, generic prints, but nothing that popped. When the opportunity to try something to perk up the room came along, I jumped at the chance.
Dezign with a Z offers a wide variety of vinyl wall decals and tattoos at very attractive prices. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect other than the letters and words I see on blogs but I kept an open mind. I was happily surprised to see the variety in their inventory. They offer designs for kids’ rooms, chalk boards, mirrors, murals, and more to choose from. Since we have an eclectic style and love clean lines, I decided to find something that fit our style.
While there were many designs that spoke to me, I selected Zen Spirit because it matches some of the accents we have in the room and around the house. The wall tattoo arrived quickly and was very easy to install thanks to clear directions. It took more time to decide how and where I wanted to hang it than it did to install. I unrolled the wall sticker, laid it flat, rubbed to ensure it would stick to the wall, and hung it.
It went up quickly and works perfectly with the other bamboo accents in the room. Dezign with a Z promised to bring life to my wall, and delivered on that promise. In less than 20 minutes, my blank wall got a little love.
I wish my kids were younger because I found designs they would love. And in colors that match the colors they chose for their rooms. I will look to Dezign with a Z when I figure out what else to do in the bathrooms. A modern retro vibe is the design theme and I’ve already found a few pieces that would work nicely.
