I have shared with you several times some of my healthy living challenges, mainly having to do with weight and healthy eating. One of the items that I have added to my supplements on a daily basis is Krill Oil. We had the opportunity to help introduce the Antarctic Krill Oil by Everest Nutrition to you a little over a year ago when they rolled out. You can read my review on their product from last year.
I was excited to learn that the cool folks at Everest Nutrition asked me to share with you their 100% Pure Cold Pressed Antarctic Krill Oil again and I am thrilled to do so.
Over the past year since I first started taking Krill Oil, I have tried a few other brands; some that even claim to be extra strength. I can honestly say that there is no other brand over the counter that stacks up or comes close to the Everest brand that I have bought and tried. The Everest Krill Oil contains 2 to 3 times the amount of ingredients that the store brands offer. In my book, paying a few extra dollars for the Everest is well worth the money! I would have to take 2 pills of the other brand to somewhat come close to what is contain in this product. That, to me, is not a way to save money or get the benefits of the product.
Speaking of krill oil benefits:
I shared some of this with you before, but it is worth mentioning again. This product contains 300mg Omega-3, 165mg EPA, and 95mg DHA! According to independent laboratories, this Krill oil was found to be 54x more powerful in antioxidant activity than fish oil. The krill oil benefits are amazing. To start, Krill oil’s Omega 3 structure is linked together in a different form compared to fish oil. The essential fatty acids in fish oil are made up in triglyceride form, whereas krill oil is linked together in phospholipid form – the same structure as the fat cells in the human body! This makes absorption of Omega 3’s faster and easier.
