18 Ways You Can Use a Woman's Sarong

I was first introduced to sarongs for women when I was around 14 years old and now that I am 45, I love them even more! When I think of a beautiful sarong, I think of all of the ways I can wear it or use it around my home.

Today, We wanted to give you 18 ideas on how you can use a beautiful sarong to dress up an outfit, to wear alone or use them to decorate your beautiful home.

* Long, Knee-Length or Short Skirt
* Summer or Resort Wear Dress
* Wrapped as a Blouse or Flowy Top
* Over-the-top of a Bathing Suit
* Cotton Sarong – Great Light-weight Beach Towel
* Shawl or Flowy Jacket (great with sleeveless dresses & tops)
* Worn on the Head as a Headpiece or Long Hair Tie
* Tied onto a Handbag
* Worn as a Belt
* Tablecloth on Dining Room Table
* Table Runner on a Buffet Table
* Dresser or Armoire Scarf
* Window Topper or Window Scarf
* Dress up the Back of a Chair or Sofa
* Tied Together as Decorative Garlands
* Tied Around Toss Pillows as Decorative Accents and Fastened with a Beautiful Pin
* Line a Beautiful Wicker or Rattan Basket
* Large Cotton Sarong ~ Romantic Picnic Blanket for Two

Obviously when purchasing a sarong, you want to consider the size…the larger the sarong, the more versatility you will have with it. In addition, consider the fabrication. If you will be laundering it often, go with an easy-to-care for fabrication, like cotton.

Sarongs make a great addition to every woman’s wardrobe and an even better addition to your home’s decor.

    I have never worn a sarong and I am amazed at all the different uses for one. I shall have to consider getting a sarong to try them out!
