Stocking Up on Chocolate Candy for Christmas

December 21, 2012 by Classystaff

Stocking Up on Chocolate Candy for ChristmasChristmas is just a few days away and I’m done with the majority of my holiday shopping. The only thing that I needed was chocolate candy, fresh fruit and some little do-dads to put into the kid’s Christmas stockings. I accomplished that yesterday when I stumbled upon a great sale on Christmas candy.

Usually when I do a stock-up on holiday candy it’s a few days after the holiday. However, I got lucky this year and stumbled upon a 50% off holiday candy sale at a local store. Yay!!! I love saving money, especially on items that I need. Okay, I could do without the chocolate candy but my grandchildren would of been disappointed if I didn’t get them some.

Everything that I purchased was 50% off…so every package cost me .25 cents to $1.50 so I was pretty happy about that. I was able to purchase 7 pieces for each grandchild and 2 pieces for me. Hey, I can’t neglect myself…I need a little bit too.

When it comes to Christmas and holiday candy…what are some of your favorites? I personally love a box of chocolate covered cherries (creme centers), a good organic dark chocolate bar and a few holiday themed peanut butter cups.

I know you are kidding. I still have baking to do. I haven’t wrapped any of my presents. This year I have to space things out more due to the worseing of arthritis in my hands. I should have started sooner. Oh well. It will get done.
