Now that the cold weather is setting in, I am finding more and more things are being cooked in one of my various crockpots and last weekend, I made a batch of baked beans!
I will sometimes get both of my crockpots out when I make baked beans and then I will freeze them in small containers for later use throughout the winter. Baked beans freeze really well.
Old-Fashion Baked Beans Recipe

I also do not recognize Kings syrup. What makes it different? The recipe sounds great.
What is Kings Syrup? Never heard of it.
Yum! I’m always looking for new crockpot recipes; especially in the winter it’s nice to come in from the cold to find a hot meal waiting for you.
I love Baked Beans and these look delicious. What is King’s Syrup though Shelly ?

Yummm! We love Baked beans and these look great. Never tried that syrup before, I’ll have to give it a try.
My son was recently asking about a good baked beans recipe. He can’t seem to get the sauce just right. I was very happy that you posted this and will have to give it to him to try. He is big on making his own barbecue and jerky. My daughter loves to make barbecue chicken and pork in the crock pot using tomato sauce, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar. Then, she shreds it for sandwiches. These beans would go really well with it.
