Honor Americas Vets by Donating a Car to Vets Vehicles
In this economy, there is always someone in need it seems. It is tough out there. Our veterans are often the ones that fall through the cracks when it comes to services and being someone that feels compelled to help those in need, I wanted to share with you some information about an awesome way to help support our vets.
There is a program online called Vets Vehicles that is set up to accept donations of cars and vehicles that are then sold or recycled, depending on the condition of the car. The money is then used to fund many different programs that supports our veterans.
Vets Vehicles works together with v-Dac, another vehicle donation service, that combine resources to sell the vehicles in over 3500 markets across the US to get the best price. Once the vehicle is sold, the monies are then used within 3 other organizations that work directly with the vets.
* AMVETS is a charitable organization that assists our veterans and sponsors many programs that serves our country and citizens. They are located in over 40 states.
* Fisher House Foundation helps vets, active personnel and their families when they have to travel for specialized medical care. They donate a comfort home on the base of a military installation. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.
* Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides scholarships, grants and counseling to surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions as well as immediate financial aid to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.
* Toys For Tots Marine Foundation gives toys and items to children in need.
All of these charities are non profits and work via donation only. By supporting Vets Vehicles with a donation, you will be helping many people across the US. Your contribution is tax deductible and they work hard to make the most money from your donation.
If you have a car that is running or not but you don’t need any more. Consider a donation to help support our vets this year. IT is easy to do. All of the info is on the Vets Vehicles website.
