Playing Hide and Seek with the Kids

December 4, 2012 by Shelly

Playing Hide and Seek with the Kids

Just like most kids, Princess Gia loves to play hide-and-seek and almost every time she visits with us, we have to play a few rounds of hide-and-see with her. The funny thing about that is that she “almost” always hides in the same three places…over and over again! hahaha!

On Thanksgiving, hubby took our empty moving boxes and built her a Princess Castle aka a box fort and she played in that fort for a few hours. When it came time to play hide-and-seek…well, you guessed it…she kept hiding (every time) inside that empty box fort! LOL

Kids are so funny and she is so much like our daughter when she was little, that it’s not even funny! It is like having our daughter “little” again! We enjoy Princess Gia’s company and are looking forward to getting moved into our new house so we can spend more time with her, like we used to.

Anyway, that is our “Almost Wordless” Wednesday post for this week.

Do your children and/or grandchildren enjoy playing hide-and-seek? More importantly, do you enjoy playing it with them? LOL

It is strange, but I also noticed with my kids that they had a few hiding place where they alwys returned to hide. It was always so much fun havng a box-made fort. Sometimes I think that kids enjoy tht more than store bought ones.

Whenever I babysit the three youngest grandkids it’s the first thing they want to do. They have hidden in the same places over and over again. Like your granddaughter. lol I want to tell them to spread out and pick different places but at my age Grandma likes that she only has to wait to find them. Which is Never far from where I’m at. lol Adorable picture. 🙂

Made me laugh because my 5 year old grandson does the same thing. Cute!
