Discovery Kids Create Your Own Lemonade Stand

Create Your Own Lemonade Stand

Two Classy Chics 2012 Holiday Gift Guide

When my daughter was a little girl, she was always setting up a lemonade stand, juice stand and/or cookie stand here in our little neighborhood. She took great pride in setting up her “little” business every spring and summer season.

Now that I have a little grand daughter, we are looking forward to starting all of those fun memories over again and this time around, we will be using the Discovery Kids – Create Your Own Lemonade Stand kit!

Lemonade Stand for Kids

The Lemonade Stand assembles in less than 10 minutes and is made from sturdy cardboard. It is light enough that the kids can set it up themselves and move it around when needed. This lemonade stand easily transforms into a cookie stand too!

It comes nicely packaged in a large box along with an instructional sheet. Older kids can put it together, but for the younger kids, it’s best done by an adult. Along with it comes a sheet of 40 colorful stickers for designing your lemonade or cookie stand. This stand is for children ages 3 years and older.

Create Your Own Lemonade Stand

Once the stand has been assembled (takes less than 10 minutes by an adult), it will stand over 6 feet tall. It’s totally adorable and it’s the perfect size for most children to use. We found it to be very sturdy even though it’s made from cardboard.

Even if your kids don’t do outdoor lemonade stands, it can be used indoors! Our Princess Gia has hers set up in her play room where she has all of our kitchen sets and toys. She likes to use hers as a “Grocery” checkout lane or as her indoor “bakery” store counter. It’s really versatile so your children can use it many different ways.

The cardboard stand, instruction sheet and stickers all come with it. Once it has been assembled, all you need to supply is the lemonade and cookies! Too cool!

  1. My 7 year old grandson would love this. This past summer when he was 6 he sold lemonade in his driveway and made $32.00. now he wants to have a family street fair.

What a cute idea! I bet this stand will provide a lot of fun to little ones and adults alike.

  3. I remember setting up my own lemonade stands as a kid! Maybe if I’d had this kit, it would have looked a little more professional, thus bringing in extra sales. But then again, maybe not. There’s something to be said about DIY charm!

  4. My nieces love to sell lemonade in the summer when their Mom has her yardsales. This would be great for them. I just might have to get them one 🙂

  5. How adorable! I hope ppl know that if the kids actually sell anything, you need to make sure they have all the proper permits, etc.

This is a great idea. Most kids seem to have a lemonade stand at some point. And it can be used and decorated to be a fort, castle, etc.

  7. I love this. I actually just saw something like this in CVS. It may have been the same one in fact. I thought that with the way the grandkids are always playing store they’d get a kick out of this even indoors. I’ll make a trip back to the store. ll\Thanks for the post.

  8. This is adorable! And more importantly it looks so easy to set up. I have fond memories of setting up my own lemonade stand as a kid, but would have loved something like this.

How cute and functional! Selling lemonade was always a hit with my kids. Our stands were always homemade, but I can see where the “true” lemonade seller would need one of these. 🙂
