Delicious Deviled Lobster Recipe

Deviled Lobster Recipe

One of our favorite types of seafood to eat happens to be lobster! We don’t eat lobster often (due to the price of lobster) but when we do enjoy it, we prepare it a variety of different ways.

My hubby got this recipe for Deviled Lobster from his mother about 20 years ago. Today, we thought we would share it with all of you. This recipe will make 4 hearty servings and makes a great seafood dinner!

Delicious Deviled Lobster Recipe

2 cups cooked lobster, diced
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 hard boiled egg
2 teaspoons lemon juice (fresh is best)
1 tablespoon butter (not margarine)
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon anchovy paste

In a large mixing bowl, combine together the diced lobster meat with 1/2 of the soft bread crumbs. Dice up the hard boiled egg and stir it into the bowl along with the fresh lemon juice, until combined.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the all-purpose flour, milk, salt, ground black pepper and the anchovy paste. Simmer over medium heat, stirring often until mixture has thickened.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place lobster mixture and the sauce mixture into a glass baking dish, stirring to combine everything together. Sprinkle the other 1/2 of bread crumbs on top. Place baking dish into the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until done. Serve immediately.
