Decorating Your Home’s Walls With Posters

December 14, 2012 by Classystaff

Back in the day when I was a teenager, we decorated our bedrooms with posters plastered all over the walls, Remember That? I know I wasn’t the only one. LOL MY favorite was Donny Osmond. Oh, I had the bubble gum crush on him so bad! HAHA My girlfriends and I had so much fun buying the teen magazines and cutting out our favorite pictures as well as going to the store and buying big posters. Then we would lay in bed daydreaming about these guys. Too Funny.

Now that my son is a teenager, he too is decorating his room with posters and while his are not hot girls, (thank goodness), they are mainly of rock bands. We have found some really cool, unique ones that we want to preserve so they last for a long time. We also have a few vintage ones I found at an antique shop that are really neat and definitely need protection. Some of these posters are like works of art and are huge.

When I had looked locally for poster frames, they all came in a standard size. My son’s posters are huge and when I looked into custom framing, I was certainly not going to pay that price! Once I checked out the pricing at this site, I knew I found the resource I needed. Sweet! I could get a custom size frame for a price I could afford.

My son’s poster frames are going to be his Christmas gift this year because we want to make sure we preserve them like they should be. I love posters and I actually have several that I would love to frame myself. They are an inexpensive way to add some great artwork into your home decor for not a whole lot of money and now that I found this place, I know I can afford to get all of the posters done.

Did you have posters when you were a teen? Do your kids have them too? What do you do to preserve them, if you do?

My posters always seemed to get ripped somehow, and I would just throw them away. I never had too many anyway, cause I shared a room with my sister and she had hers on the wall.
