I know we just got through Thanksgiving but frankly, I started receiving Christmas and Holiday cards in the mail a few days ago! It seems that every year, we start getting them earlier and earlier.
Personally, I don’t send mine out until the end of the first week in December, sometimes not until the second week in December if I am really busy at that time. However, I have NEVER sent them out before Thanksgiving or immediately after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Today, I would like to know how many of you send out your holiday greeting cards in November and how many of you send them out in December? Or better yet, when abouts do you send out your holiday greeting cards? Are you an early bird or a last-minute type of person?
In addition, do you always mail them out via postal mail or do you hand deliver some? Do you think it’s perfectly fine to just toss them in your neighbors doors or is that bad etiquette? I would love to hear your thoughts on Holiday greeting cards!

I wait toaround the 15th of December. I don’t like my card to arrive too early. If I hand deliver any card I usually haveit with a homemade batch of cookies. Personally I wouldn’t just place a card in a neighbor’s mailbox
I send mine out the 2nd week of December also. I enjoy getting cards by snail mail and it is a tradition to do them!
We haven’t received any as of yet. My wife usually sends them out around the 10th of December. She has been sending emails to some people but some of our older relatives still get them via snail mail.
I always send mine the beginning of the second week in December if life is proceeding normal. 🙂 Otherwise I end up in last minute mailings. I don’t send them in November at all. But you are right. It seems everything is earlier and earlier.

Around the middle of December…I want the holiday separate from Thanksgiving. There is one I have to send out in November since my husband has a brother that lives overseas. I do have them all bought and I bought Christmas stamps to go with them. I was thinking about it today and know I should get started. The year is just going by so quickly. Good luck with yours!
