The Silly Things Grandparents Do

November 27, 2012 by Shelly

Silly Things Grandparents Do

My husband never ceases to amaze me with his “silliness” when our little grand daughter is around! When our daughter was little, he was silly, but not this silly as he would of found some of that to be “too” embarrassing when she was a little girl.

Now that we are grandparents, he will do ANYTHING that Princess Gia asks him to do…he no longer cares about embarrassment at all!

On Thanksgiving Day, Princess Gia came up to see us and she wanted to help Nanny & Pappy with their packing (we are moving in less than 3 weeks)…but instead of packing, she had Pappy playing and had him wearing her “Flounder” fish hat! LOL Not only that, she had him playing felt dolls and paper dolls along with her! Once they were done with that, they took all of my empty moving boxes and made a Princess Castle with those!

Let’s just say, I didn’t get any packing done on Thanksgiving, matter of fact, I had a big old mess to clean up once she left and went back home! Geesh!

Well, there you have it! Another “Almost Wordless” Wednesday post for this week! Enjoy!

LOL I was just going to say Shelly, I am surprised too that S let you photograph him and put it on the site. He is such a great sport and Gia will remember these days forever.

lol lol Shelly, these are such priceless memories. It’s amazing how grandkids can bring out the child in their grandpas. :)Thanks for sharing. These are memories she’ll always remember as well. 🙂
