Company & Product Information: Christmas Web contains a storybook that tells a Christmas tale about how The Christmas Web came to be. The story describes how elves look over kids throughout the year and learn of their desired special holiday gifts. Three spools of yarn (magic wands) are provided with the gift set. The yarn is used by the elves (parents) who create a web throughout the house – around window latches, chairs, doors and knobs – which ends in a closet or cabinet that hold the special gifts from the elves (mom or dad). On Christmas morning, a web is created for kids to have fun finding their special gift within the house. So every year kids will not only look forward to opening gifts, but also anxiously await finding their special gift at the end of the Christmas Web.

The Christmas Web ~ A Family Tradition is a hardcover book containing 43 beautiful pages. The book was written by Kerry Grinkmeyer and the book’s illustrations were done by artist Diana McManus Whitman.
Excerpt from Page 1: T’was the dawn of Christmas morning, and all through the land Children were waking to celebrate the holiday so grand. At the North Pole Mrs. Claus and the elves had gathered in wait. In hopes that Santa would not be late. When through the clouds there did appear Santa and his sleigh pulled by eight reindeer. The snow went a-rumble, the air went a-shake, from the cheer and hurray the elves they did make.
The story goes on throughout the book and the illustrations are gorgeous! In the back of the book you will find a few pages where you can write down your children’s names, description of the magic wand, registering your magic wands and all of the instructions for using this gift set with your family. I love that there are additional pages in the back of the book where you can list and record your family’s Christmas Web Memories.
The 3 magic wands that we received in our family’s kit are done in navy blue, yellow and red and already have the yarn wrapped around them. When Christmas morning rolls around, I will be using the blue magic wand for hubby’s gifts, the red magic wand for my daughter’s gifts and the yellow magic wand for my grand daughter’s gifts. Since I don’t have little one’s living at home fulltime, I will be using them for the adults too!
I am really excited about this and I have been reading the book to Princess Gia which has increased her excitement for Christmas. Then on Christmas morning I am going to read the book to everyone again (after breakfast) and then they will have to follow all of the yarn trails that I will be making to find their special gift that was left behind just for them.
