I have some pretty dry skin normally and in the winter it gets really ugly looking. You can see my pores and my skin on my body looks like some lizard skin. Its kinda gross, if you ask me. That is why I look for superior quality bath and body products that are loaded in moisture and I have an amazing product to tell you about today!
Several months ago, we shared with you the anti aging products from Simone France, the Classic French Skin Care company, and they asked me to review their Body Duo. This is a set consisting of a sugar Skin Scrub and Body Lotion. I was excited to check it out and see what it would do for me and my sorry skin.
When it arrived, I was happy to see that this is a nice size jar of scrub and a pump bottle of lotion. The scents are a delightful citrus which made me totally smile! I love citrus scents. They are just so …. Happy! The next day I took the scrub into the shower with me and put it to work.
I have to say that I do not normally RAVE about a product….But I am making an exception on this set. Oh My goodness! The scrub is AMAZING! Amazing.
When I first used the scrub, I thought it was a bit odd. Normally body scrubs I have used are in a bunch of oils and the salt or sugar is pretty moist. This scrub it totally different. It felt dry almost and reminds me of the consistency of a snow cone.. lol. I wasn’t not expecting to get what came out of this dry feeling scoop of sugar.
When I rubbed this on my arm after getting it wet and adding a tiny bit of water to my hand, the moisture from the scrub just coated my skin. You can actually see the water beading up on your skin. Holy Smokes! The scrub beautifully exfoliated my skin and the moisture left behind was awesome. You can either just rinse off the sugar and towel dry or you can use soap to remove the sugar and oils. This girl did not want to lose one bit of moisture to a soap, so I just rinsed and stared at my skin. The transformation was fabulous.
My skin was so young looking again! So I grabbed the body lotion while I was still a bit damp and slathered that on and it was the icing on the cake. The lotion is a beautiful, thick white cream that looks like it belongs on your face. I bet you could even use it there. The scent is pretty and goes along with the citrus of the scrub. And my skin felt amazing; soft and moist.
I do not have enough adjectives to describe how much I love this set. 12 hours later, my skin still felt soft and it was ready for some more lotion. It worked that long for me… amazing. Then I read the label and the site and found out why. They both are loaded with fabulous organic oils and butters that your skin will thank you for.
If your skin is thirsty and needs a big, happy, drink from the moisture gods, I think the Simone France Body Duo will do it for you.
I said it before with the Simone France Skin Care products that they were one of my all time favorites and they still are and now I am saying that this Body Duo Body Care Set – I will never be without again. Honestly, it is that wonderful on my skin.
