For our review, Texas Irons sent us their Personalized Leather BBQ Grilling Gloves to check out for all of you. We had this grilling gloves personalized with the name ERNIE for my daughter’s finance who is really into BBQ grilling. Seriously, Ernie must grill on his BBQ grill at least 4 times a week, all year long! Even though these are grilling gloves, you can certainly use them inside for when you are cooking and baking too!

The grilling gloves are made of 100% genuine leather with a suede finish. They are really thick and heavy-duty gloves! They feature an air cushioned lining which helps to keep your hands cooler and dryer. The lining is also flame retardant which is a must-have when you use them for grilling. Regarding sizing, one-size fits all. (In our opinion, that is pretty much true since they are over-sized to begin with).

The right hand glove is the one that is personalized and it has a leather patch on it which says “Ernie’s Steakhouse & Barbecue, Since 2012” which I think is really cute! I LOVE that patch & logo which makes it a very special gift for your gift recipient. Everyone that I know loves getting personalized gifts!

The gloves are really thick and you can tell as soon as you put them onto your hands how nice of a quality they are! As you can see, Ernie has plenty of room in his new gloves but yet, they are not falling off of his hands. Due to their fabrication and construction, he can now pick up hot things from the grill, stove-top or oven, and not get burned. He can easily make a fist and bend his hands while wearing these gloves which is a must when reaching for a hot dish or skewer.
