No Slip Shower Mats and Tub Mats
For the past 7 months I have been blogging about all of our home remodeling projects over at the house that we will be moving into…well guess what? Move-in date is now less than 3 weeks away! One of our projects over at the house was a new 3/4 bathroom and my husband built it from the ground up! He made us a large double shower and did all of the plumbing and tile work himself.
While the bathroom tile in the shower is beautiful, it is also very slippery when wet. We immediately new we would need a nice no slip shower mat and found a wonderful store online called SlipXSolutions who sells bathtub mats, shower mats, drain covers, bath treads and more.
For our review, we received the Square Shower Mat in Clear to check out for all of you. This shower mat measures 21″ by 21″ and comes in 2 color choices: white and clear. It is made out of allergen-free vinyl and adheres to your tiled shower floor via little suction cups. (lots of little suction cups which grip your floor tightly and securely).
The center of the shower mat has several large drainage holes, so you don’t have to worry about the water puddling up on top of it. When you stand on the shower mat, the bottom of your feet are cushioned in comfort and trust me, that mat does NOT slide around. If you ask me, standing on hard tile is uncomfortable and standing on this mat is pure heaven!
For cleaning, you can toss it into your washer machine or just spray it down like I do with a handheld shower fixture. We love the size of this shower mat and now our feet are comfortable and we don’t slip around our shower while showering. It stays firmly in-place, wet or dry!
We are really impressed with our new shower mat and once the second bathroom gets gutted and remodeled, I will definitely be purchasing another one for that bathroom. These are not those cheapo rubber mats you find in a discount dollar store! These are high-quality shower and tub mats that do the job and will do the job for years! Yeah!!
