Our Review: The company sent us their blonde Dance-with-me-Doll Dancing Ballerina Doll to review for all of you. As you all know, I have a 3 1/2 year old little grand daughter and she loves anything that has to do with ballerinas and the ballet.
This beautiful doll comes in 4 different styles: Blonde, Brunette, Light Ethnic and Dark Ethnic. We received the Blonde for our review. The doll stands 35″ tall and is the perfect size for toddlers and preschoolers. She is made for ages 3 years and up.
Our Ballerina Doll has embroidered facial features (eyes, nose and mouth) and wears a pink leotard with pink mesh netting tutu. She has white tights on her legs and wears pink satin ballerina slippers on her feet. All of the clothing is permanently attached to the doll.
At the bottom of each foot is a white elastic strap and that strap hooks around your little ballerina’s foot (feet) so that the doll can dance with her. The straps are sewn onto the doll nice and tight, so you really don’t have to worry about them coming loose.
This is a “plush” soft-style ballerina doll who is light-weight, she is not heavy nor stiff, so she is safe for your little one to play with. When not in-use, she can sit on the top of a bed or in a chair to enhance your child’s bedroom decor.
The doll arrives beautifully packaged and we were super excited to see her. Once I opened up the box, Princess Gia was squealing with joy! Matter of fact, I couldn’t get the doll out of the box and the music on the stereo fast enough for her! LOL Once I showed her how to hook the doll’s elastic straps onto her own feet, she was off and dancing across our family room floor! On that very first evening, she danced with her new doll for almost 2 hours and later that evening, she took her to bed with her.
The following day Princess Gia decided to name her new Ballerina Doll and named her Angelina…just like the famous Angelina Ballerina children’s series which happens to be one of her favorite shows. Almost every day since receiving her new Ballerina Doll, she has played with her and the doll has quickly become her “new” best friend! This doll extremely well-made and is absolutely gorgeous!
Can you imagine your little ballerina’s face on Christmas morning finding one of these Dance-with-me-Dolls under the holiday tree? oh my!!!
