How to put Together a Men’s Shaving Kit

The holidays are quickly coming and many of us are thinking about holiday gifts. For most of us, we struggle with putting together practical gifts for the men in our lives and this year, why not give your favorite man a shaving kit with all of his favorite grooming products?

Putting together a shaving kit and presenting it as a holiday gift is quite easy to prepare. You will need to do a little shopping and for the most part, you should be able to get everything in the same store.

We do recommend that when purchasing items you try to stick with the same brand, so that you don’t cause skin irritations. If your gift recipient has sensitive skin, consider getting unscented products and always keep your receipt in-case he needs to exchange any of the items that you purchased.

Here is a list of items you will need to purchase:

* Dob Bag or Grooming Bag (for storage of his shaving items)
* Electric Shaver or Manual Razor
* Pre-Shave Oil
* Liquid Facial Wash
* Face Scrub
* Shaving Cream or Shaving Soap
* After-Shave Lotion, Cream, Gel or Balm
* Shaving Brush
* First-Aid Cream or Balm (for razor burn, nicks and/or cuts)
* 10 to 12 Sterile Bandaids

Tip: If your gift recipient does a lot of traveling, consider purchasing travel-sizes along with the full sizes that you need. You can make up a travel grooming kit too!

Remove all of the plastic wrap, price tags and outer packaging from the purchased products. Double check to make sure all lids are securely on the products. Place each product into the Dob Bag or Grooming Bag, one at a time with their lids facing upwards. Try to pack everything into the bag tightly and use paper shreds or crumpled tissue paper if needed.

Once everything has been assembled, place the grooming kit into a gift bag or gift box. Add a bow, an ID tag and your done! Now you have a practical gift to give to that special man in your life and he will appreciate the time you spent on preparing that special gift for him.
