When it comes to buying birthday and holiday gifts for the children in my family, I like to look for toys and games that are educational and/or ones that offer imaginative and creative play. I am really picky about what I buy and where I buy it from.
Today, I would like to introduce you to the company called Babalu Inc. where you can find high-quality children’s toys at price points you are going to love! Let me tell you about the Felt Story Boards that they sent us for the review!
Felt Tales is a series of colorful scenes with whimsical characters and accessories that stick and remove easily from the board to make for hours of imaginative play. Some of the Felt Tales play sets that are currently available include: Pretty Princess, Cinderella, Dinosaur Days, Forest Fairies, Let’s go to the Farm, Let’s go to the Ballet, Happy Tails and Heroes to the Rescue.
First up, We received the Felt Tales Pretty Princess Felt Storyboard that includes over 20 pieces! This item is made for children ages 3 and up and the felt storyboard is about the size of a dinner placemat. This particular set is a princess theme that includes a felt castle, 3 felt princesses with clothing & accessories, her carriage & horse and several other adorable things!
I gave the felt storyboard to our 3 1/2 Princess Gia one afternoon to play with. She loves paper dolls and magnetic paper dolls, so I knew she would love this felt storyboard set. I showed her how the felt pieces stick to the storyboard and how she can change the dolls outfits, change-up the scenery and so forth. Within 2 or 3 minutes, she had the hang of it…and was having fun! I love quiet-time, creative & imaginative toys like this!
The second item we received is the Felt Tales Happy Tails Felt Storyboard set that includes over 20+ pieces, plus the felt storyboard. (shown in photo number one). This set is in an animal clinic design and is totally adorable! It would be appropriate for a little girl or a little boy. This particular set feature an animal clinic doll, 2 children, a vet tech and then all of the little felt animals & accessories.
For this one, I gave it to my 5 year old god son who absolutely loves animals! Princess Gia and Prince Cameron spend a lot of time together, so they can create & play with their storyboards together. The first afternoon that I gave the kids their new felt storyboards, they played with them for 2 hours straight and I loved having the down-time as they played with them. It is fun to watch them come up with stories and designs as they play with them.
These Felt Tales Storyboards are really affordable at only $14.95 each and they would make a great holiday gift or birthday gift. I love that I can pack them in my tote and the kids can play with them in the car, at church or any where else where I need them to sit and play quietly.
