Chocolate S’more Cookie Bars Recipe

November 24, 2012 by Shelly

With the holidays just around the corner, we thought we would share with you one of our favorite bar cookie recipes. This recipe is really easy to prepare and for those of you who want something simple that isn’t time consuming to make, this recipe is for you. It is also a great recipe for all of those upcoming bake sales too!

Chocolate S’more Cookie Bars Recipe

1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 ounces butterscotch chips
6 ounces mini marshmallows
14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk

Tip: 6 ounces is equal to one full cup

In a large 9″ by 13″ baking dish, combine together the melted butter with the graham cracker crumbs, until crumbly and then press them down flat to the bottom of the glass baking dish. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips on top and then the butterscotch chips. Finish up by sprinkling the mini marshmallows on top. Pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over the top.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Place baking dish into the oven and bake for 2o to 22 minutes or until done. Remove and let cool. Once cool, cut into bars and store the bars in an airtight container.

I like that this is an easy recip. For a change I might use white chocolate chips instead of the butterscotch

Sounds yummy and pretty easy! I love recipes like this, and they can easily turn into family favorites. My grandson loves smores; I will have to pass this on to them. Thanks for the tip about 6 ounces equaling a cup. 🙂
