Two Classy Chics 2012 Holiday Gift Guide
When it comes to buying unique toys and gifts for my little 3 1/2 year old grand daughter, I like to stick with educational toys, puzzles, classic games and little play sets which give her hours upon hours of playing enjoyment.
A few weeks ago I was looking for some of the aforementioned items and stumbled across a store called Ravenburger. After spending a few minutes browsing their store, I was immediately impressed with everything they had to offer. I was super excited when they agreed to a product review for our holiday gift guide and I knew that our blog readers would be interested in their products too!
The company sent us the Tinga Tinga Tales – Funny Monkey Puzzle to review for all of you. Princess Gia loves puzzles and has been collecting puzzles the past 2 years. This particular puzzle is made for children ages 4 and up, but at 3 1/2, she can build it just fine!
The puzzle has 35 pieces and comes in a beautiful storage box. I love the artwork on this puzzle as it is bright and colorful. The puzzle pieces are perfectly sized for little preschoolers and it’s a nice, high-quality puzzle.
We sat down with Princess Gia on our living room floor and she was super excited about her new puzzle and in less than 20 minutes, she had it completely built, with our assistance. The puzzle’s design features monkeys, a turtle, lion, hippo, elephant, flamingos, zebras, birds and lizards. We love the design! For only $10.49, this puzzle would make a great holiday gift!
We also received their WOW Cupcake Chloe little girl’s play set to review for you too! This play set is for girls ages 1 1/2 to 5 years in age. What I really love about the set is that no batteries are required! I get tired of purchasing a slew of batteries for all of Princess Gia’s toys!
This is a 5-piece play set that includes: cupcake bake shop, Chloe, her tricycle and 2 cupcakes.
The spinning ingredient sorter is operated by a removable, giant cupcake and the swinging cupboard door opens up to show you all of the baking secrets inside! This play set is absolutely adorable and I love that it’s small in size! I can toss this into my tote bag and go! Gia can take it in the car, to Nanny’s house or any where else…easily!
It’s made of durable hard plastic, so it will last a long time and it’s easy to clean (just a damp cloth when needed). Princess Gia has been playing with her new Cupcake Chloe set and loves it! It’s so cute to see her using Chloe to make “play” cupcake treats and then to pretend she is delivering them. Fabulous set! This would also make a great holiday gift and is affordably priced at only $30.99. I love creative and imaginative toys like this!
Our order was shipped quickly to our home and was well packaged! Everything arrived in perfect condition. I couldn’t be happier with both of these items and I know Princess Gia is going to continue to play with them. They are fun items and she is really enjoying them!
Head on over to Ravenburger and check out all of their fun children’s toys, puzzles, games and other items. I think you will be very impressed with their selection of products, quality of products and their prices are fantastic! Thanks Ravensburger!
