Chicken and Stuffing Casserole Recipe
Thanksgiving is on the way and Turkey and stuffing will be on the menu for millions of Americans. At our house, we are not much different. My favorite part of the meal is the turkey and gravy. Yummm Pour that home made gravy over everything on the plate including the stuffing and dig in! I can almost taste it right now!
But Stuffing is not only for the Holidays! Mrs. Cubbison’s Stuffing Mix comes in several different flavors so you can serve it easily any night of the week. The easy to make stove top recipe is right on the box. Plus many people are always look for something to cook that will help use the awesome holiday leftovers – if there are any!
I whipped up a delicious weekday meal the other day using the of the Mrs. Cubbisons Classic Stuffing and I want to share this super easy recipe with you. This would be a perfect meal to use with the Leftover Turkey and Dressing after your holiday meal.
Chicken and Stuffing Casserole Recipe
3 or 4 chicken breasts or any boneless parts you have (or turkey)
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
pepper
garlic powder
poultry seasoning
touch of season salt
Mrs Cubbision’s Classic Stuffing – Prepared
Simply grab a baking dish and add your chicken or turkey to the dish. Season with the season salt, pepper, garlic powder and poultry seasoning. Then Layer your cream soups over the top of the chicken. Top it with the cheese and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Remove it and add some of your stuffing to the top and sides of the dish and place it back in the oven for 20 minutes or so. Serve and Enjoy! ( any leftover stuffing can be served on the side)
This recipe is so delicious! It is easy to make and get it quickly in the oven so it is great for a week night.
