Good Morning Everyone! How was your weekend? Did you go out for any fun family time? Do anything exciting? I spent my weekend at home…watched some movies, took a few naps and did some work. Pretty boring and non-exciting for sure!
Just a reminder!!! We double check and also triple check all entries that come into the giveaways that are hosted here. We had a BIG giveaway end last night for the Fruit Basket Co. and had a LOT of cheaters trying to enter it. I spent 40 minutes earlier this morning trying to get 2 winners and tossing out cheater entries. I got so disgusted that I had to walk away from my computer and come back an hour later to get our winners.
Each giveaway has a MANDATORY entry and it MUST BE completed correctly. If not, we will toss your entries if you come up as a winner and NOT select you. Things like “I love fruit”, “I want to win” or “Nice fruit basket” do NOT count!!! Geesh, people! I am really frustrated that it takes 1 hour to select winners thanks to the folks who want to come in and try to cheat. This is NOT acceptable behavior!
The sponsor DESERVES a few minutes of your time to go over to their web site, look around & come back and tell us the name of your favorite product, other than the product we reviewed. Like I said, you will NOT win any giveaways on this blog unless you complete the mandatory entry correctly and that is the BOTTOM LINE!
Anyway, We had a few giveaways end late last night so we do have new winners to announce this morning. We used Random.org to select the winner once we verified all entries into the giveaway. We will email the winner and they will have 48 hours to respond to that email to claim their prize. Once 48 hours have passed, we reserve the right to select a new winner.
Winner of the Men’s Shaving Kit from Grooming Lounge is… Gina Hull
The 2 Winners for the Halloween Apple Baking Kit from The Fruit Co. are…
1. Karen B.
2. Carol L.
You can see the names of the winner’s on the entry form widget posted with each of the giveaways that closed last night. Thanks & have a great Monday!
Hi Christy Ann,
They do it because they are getting away with the “cheating” on a lot of other blogs. A lot of blog owners don’t take the time to double check their entries. I saw a “well-known” cheater win a prize a few days ago over on another blog and this person is WELL KNOWN to be a cheater who NEVER EVER completes the mandatory entry. The ONLY entry this person ever does is just tweet the giveaway…but yet, they won.
This is why they do it…because they do get lucky and they do get away with it.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment! Nice to meet you!
Perhaps your contest is to complicated….I love contests but even the most devote contest lover gets tired of all the endless Rafflecopter tasks.
Hi Charlotte
First of all, thanks for your comment & for reading our blog. Second of all, just because there are a LOT of ways to earn entries on any given giveaway, doesn’t mean you have to complete them all, nor is that a GOOD reason to cheat in a giveaway. The ONLY required entry in our giveaways is ONE visit to the sponsor’s web site to answer our question. The rest are bonus entries and are NOT required. I think EVERY sponsor deserves that click and few seconds of the entrant’s time.
Cheating under any circumstance is just plain wrong.
Thank you so much and Congrats to the other winners as well.
