Updating our Bedroom with Animal Print Bedding

Last weekend we finally got the carpet into our master bedroom along with the new lighting fixtures and bedroom furniture. Now that all of the main decorating choices have been made, it is time to update our bedroom with two new animal print bedding sets.

Why two you might ask? I like having a second set on hand to switch out the look while the first set is being laundered. I have always had two complete bedding sets on hand, since I have had my own home.

We painted the walls a neutral “sand” color and installed wall-to-wall carpeting in a pale beige. I wanted to stick with a neutral color palette, but didn’t want boring solid color bedding. After doing some online “browsing” I found two beautiful bedding sets that I fell in love with.

The first one is a Brown Zebra Print Bedding set and I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. I had thought about going with a black Zebra Print Bedding Set, but the brown will definitely fit into my color palette better. The set comes with everything I will need for the bed and I think I will get the matching window treatments to go along with it.

The second one that I fell in love with is from the same store, but a totally different design. It’s in a brown all-over Leopard Print and would work well with my color palette too! Just like the first set, the bedding set comes with everything I will need for the bed and the matching window treatments are super affordable.

I decided to go with a Safari animal print look as I feel it is unisex in it’s appeal. My husband is tired of all of the girlie colors and floral prints, so I am ready to try something different.
