Animal Shelters and Cat Rescue groups are over-flowing with cats right now and they could really use your help! Please…consider adopting a new cat…as they need to find these fur babies a new home. They deserve a life not caged up in a shelter! They deserve a life not living outdoors where danger lurks around every corner. They deserve a LOVING HOME that hopefully you can provide!
Millions of cats around the world are put down to the lack of homes and space in shelters. We need to change that! First…always spay and neuter your pet! There’s no excuse to NOT get it done. I don’t want to hear that you can’t afford it! There are low cost programs out there that can help you. If you can’t afford that nor vet care for your pet…then you shouldn’t own one…PERIOD and that’s the bottom line.
If you have the space…please consider adopting a cat and giving it a home. Got one already? How about a friend? You can find kitties that are cat and dog-friendly at area shelters. They will advise you on that. Don’t have the space or can’t have any pets? Please consider donating financially, even if it’s only $25 or $50. Donate money, time, food and supplies. Rescue groups need it all!
All four of our cats over the past 40 years have been rescues that we adopted. They each had a different personality and brought so much joy to our lives. Having a pet can help families bond together. Cats are smart and can learn tricks just like a dog. They love to be petted and love to snuggle with their owner. Children who grow up with pets in the home often become GREAT adults! Pets teach them all sorts of things!
