Two Classy Chics 2012 Holiday Gift Guide
We are getting ready to officially kick off our 3rd Annual Holiday Gift Guide and today, we thought we would give you all a little head start on your holiday shopping!
The company we are featuring today is called OutdoorSolarStore where you can find all kinds of outdoor solar products. You can find solar lamp post lights, solar holiday lights, spot lights, flag lights, flood lights, you name it, they probably have it!
The company sent me their Warm White Solar Christmas Lights – String which comes in 50, 100 and 200 light lengths. The strings include a 6 1/2′ lead line to place your solar panel. I love that long lead line length!
The lights come with everything you need, including the AA rechargeable battery. As you look at my photo, you can see everything that comes with them: the light string, the rechargeable battery, 2-piece yard stake, and the solar panel with attachment clip. You can stake them into the ground or you can use the included clip to hang the solar panel.
The lights will stay illuminated for up to 8 hours when fully charged. What I really love is that you can set them to come on at dusk (they have a light sensor) and you can set them to stay steady when lit or set them onto blinking mode. We decided to set ours on the “steady mode.”
My husband got the string lights ready for use and then used the attachment clip to attach the solar panel onto one of our lampost’s hanging bars. It was a really easy process and that clip fits it nice and tight. He then took the strand of lights and wrapped them around our outdoor lampost. In a matter of less than 5 minutes, he was done!
See the solar panel is clipped to the lamppost bar and it fits on their snuggly, nothing to “move around” on ya. He then tilted the solar panel so that it faces the sun during the daylight hours.
The photo on the right shows how he wrapped the light strand/string around the lamppost, working from the top, down. If you are going to stake them into your yard, obviously you would work from the bottom, up.
Sorry you can’t really see them wrapped around the lamppost, but they are there! What really surprised us is that when it got dark 2 hours later, the lights came on! They didn’t need a couple of days to “charge” up! When we purchased solar lights in the past, often times we had to wait a few days for them to charge up, these lights are super impressive!
Later that evening he went outside and got a great photo of the lights! I love how these lights look on our outdoor lampost and because they are white…we will be leaving them up all year long! They really add a nice touch to our outdoor decor!
You can get these lights in the “warm white” or you can get the Multi-Color Solar Christmas Lights if you prefer those. All of them are super affordably priced and shipped very quickly to your home.
