Our Upcoming Spooky-licious Halloween Party Plans
We are getting ready to move into our new house later in November and decided to hold one last party here at our old home…a big Halloween party! We drafted up a guest list last night and will be inviting about 30 friends to our party.
Now that our guest list is done and invitations are going out in the mail today, it is time for me to get busy purchasing all of our Halloween party supplies. I am on a very tight budget this year, so I am looking for party supply deals.
If you are looking for some great party supply deals, check out PartyWedding who is running a 20% off deal and you can earn FREE shipping on purchases over $65.00. You can use their promos together for even bigger savings which is really nice too!
My party shopping list includes:
12 helium party balloons
1 helium tank
6 hanging bat cutouts
3 rolls of orange streamers and 3 rolls of black streamers
3 large black cheesecloth tablecloths
4 packages of “faux” spider cobwebs
4 Halloween spooky garlands
1 large black kettle (for apple bobbing)
ghost or jack-o-lantern pinata filled with candy
glow-in-the-dark full-size skeleton (to hang near front door)
6 foam tombstones (for yard near front door)
glow-in-the-dark sidewalk chalk
Halloween theme tableware for 40 people
6 tabletop decorations
party cake (caramel apple cake with cream cheese frosting)
candy apples and caramel apples
large punch bowl
5 different beverages + spiked punch
5 bags of ice (for beverages)
3 blocks of dry ice (for outside decoration)
2 adult costumes (Luke Skywalker for hubby and Princess Leia for me)
Sigh, I know I am missing some things from my list! I am not really good at planning last minute parties, so if you ladies have any suggestions on other things I may need for our party…please speak up!
Every year hubby and I dress up as characters from Star Wars and this year, it will be Luke and Leia, although I told him that I wanted to be Yoda, he wants me to be the Princess.
Anyway, I got a lot to do to get ready for our big Halloween party! Are any of you hosting or attending a Halloween party this year? If so, are you dressing up and who will you be?
