My Review: I received a bottle of the new Purex plus Oxi stain-fighting liquid detergent to review for all of you. I was pretty excited about this new formula for two reasons. (1) I have a lot of white bath linens that seem to get dull looking with other laundry detergents. (2) I have a hard time keeping my husbands work uniforms clean and bright looking.
I decided to put the new Purex plus Oxi to the test by washing my white bath towels with it. For my test, I did not pretreat or soak my towels at all. I simply measured out the liquid laundry detergent and tossed it into my washer along with the white bath towels. Once done, I tossed them into the dryer until they were completely dry. When I removed them from the dryer and was folding them, I noticed 2 things: (1) They were nice and bright ~ see photo above (2) They smelled fresh & clean. Matter of fact, my towels were much brighter after washing, than before! Yeah!!!!
Next, I tossed in 2 of my hubby’s uniform pants and 2 of his uniform work shirts. I did use Purex plus Oxi as a pretreater and then washed his uniforms as I normally do. I was really impressed that the Purex plus Oxi got out almost all of the stains! That is a miracle as I usually have to wash his soiled uniforms 2 or 3 times before I get those same results. In addition, the uniforms smelled really nice and I didn’t have to use any fabric softener!
Overall, I am really impressed with this Purex plus Oxi and I will be picking some of this up on my next grocery run! I can now eliminate bleaching of my towels because the Purex plus Oxi does a great job at brightening them up! Yeah!!!
