Marketing My Business with Custom Embroidered Shirts

October 3, 2012 by Shelly

Marketing My Business with Custom Embroidered ShirtsI have been working from home since the early 1990’s and currently I own or co-own four businesses. My marketing and advertising budget is a lot smaller than most companies, so I have to get creative with how I market my business in my local community.

One way I like to market my business is by investing in custom embroidered shirts with my business name, logo and web site address printed on them. I usually order 25 of them at a time in various sizes which also save me money by buying them in bulk.

Once I have them, I have my entire family and a few friends wear them for me when they go out and about in the community. These shirts really get my business a lot of attention, locally. I also like to wear these shirts when I attend trade shows, networking events, blogging conferences, etc. When people see me wearing a shirt, they know who I am and what my business is about.

When looking for a great t shirt screen printing company, it is important to do your research on them, because they are not all created equally. Some will require that you place a minimum order of 100 shirts and others will require that you order 25 shirts. In addition, you want one who will accept and use your custom design/logo. In my case, that is usually the designs of my blogs.

Just because you have an online business, it is equally important to market and brand your business offline, within your own community. One way you can effectively and affordably do that is by investing in custom embroidered t-shirts.
