You will find activity sets & books, construction sets, active learning & play sets, discovery & exploration sets, electronic toys, games, puzzles, water & sand toys and a whole lot more! Everything on their site is extremely well-made and affordable.
My Review: We received the set of 30 Jumbo Safari Counters from Learning Resources to review for all of you. This counting set is made for ages 2 and up and contains 5 animals in 6 different colors, for a total of 30 counting pieces. All of them come nicely packaged in a reusable plastic container for storage.
The 5 different animals include: Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Giraffes and Gorillas, each one measures approximately 2 1/4″ high, depending on the animal. This is a great set for teaching; sorting, counting, colors, early math and animal names.
They are perfectly sized for toddler and preschooler hands and they are hollowed out & can be used as finger puppets for storytelling. They come with an activity guide that explains 5 simple activities you can do with your child and this fun animal set.
Over the course of a week, we did all 5 of the different activities with Little Gia and she had a really fun time doing them with us. We live 15 minutes from our local zoo and take her to the zoo all of the time. This set is great for helping to teach your child about animals, counting, sorting, colors, matching and since they double as finger puppets, great for preschooler storytelling too!
One of the ways we like to use this Jumbo Safari Animal Set is in the bathtub! During Gia’s baths, she likes to play fun games with the toys she has in the tub. Since these animals are made of durable hard plastic, we put them into the tub with her and play our educational activities and games in there. She also attends preschool and she has taken the container of the animals into school for “show and tell” day.
