It’s hard to believe but Fall is here and the Holiday’s are just around the corner. With that said, it is time to update our Fall and Winter wardrobes with a few beautiful new pieces.
A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a store called Midnight Velvet and was immediately impressed with what I saw. This store carries some of the most gorgeous clothing that I have seen in a very long time. When you shop at Midnight Velvet you will find women’s clothing, men’s clothing, accessories, footwear, jewelry, gifts and gorgeous items for your home.
The company sent me their stunning Faux Fur Trim Hoodie to review for all of you. Just like most gals, I love cardigan sweaters and this one is like a traditional cardigan, but longer and with a hood! The fabrication is super soft and it’s made of a cotton, viscose & bamboo blend.
The sweater comes in misses and plus sizes, and features a faux fur trim that runs up the front placket and around the hood. I love that there are two front hip area pockets and that faux fur…looks real! It’s a nice medium-weight sweater that is generously cut. You want to stay “true-to-size” when ordering and you will still have plenty of room underneath it for layering with tops and camis.
Hidden underneath the faux-fur front placket are little silver eye hooks, you can fasten the sweater shut or wear it open…entirely up to you! I love that I can wear this sweater casually with a pair of denim jeans or leggings, or really dress it up with a nice pair of slacks or a skirt. That tunic length looks great with just about anything in your wardrobe!
For picture taking purposes, I had my mother model it for me (she stinks at taking photos) and it looks just as great on her as it does me! I am really going to get a lot of wear out of this “fashion find” this Fall and Winter!
