Dry Rub Seasonings by Knox’s Spice Co.

Dry Rubs Knox Spice CoMy fiance and I love to grill, matter of fact, I consider the Big E to be somewhat of a grilling expert. We fire up one of our barbecue grills at least 3 times a week and will grill all year long.

A few weeks ago the Big E stumbled upon a company called Knox’s Spice Co. and was immediately in-heaven with the products he saw. The Big E loves all kinds of grilling dry rubs, spices, seasonings and sauce mixes, and Knox’s Spice Co. has several yummy ones to choose from.

A few weeks ago we reviewed 3 seasonings from Knox’s Spice Co. and today, we are reviewing 2 more. Dry rubs are one of the easiest ways for you to add flavor to any type of meat or veggies that you may be cooking.

The Knox’s Cracked Pepper Dry Rub Seasoning is one of our favorites! It is the perfect blend of cracked black pepper and other aromatic herbs and savory spices blended specifically for steak. However, it can be used on a variety of meats. This one little bottle is enough to season 15 lbs. of your favorite meats, wow!Dry Rub Seasonings by Knox's Spice Co.

We decided to rub down some thick cut pork chops with the Cracked Pepper Rub and then threw them onto our gas grill. We grilled each side for about 8 minutes and they were done. You will have to “excuse” my photo as my camera is in the shop, so I had to snap a photo using my cell phone. The pork chops were delicious and very full of flavor. The Cracked Pepper doesn’t make them spicy hot, so don’t be afraid of using it.

The Knox’s Kabob Middle Eastern Market Style Dry Rub Seasoning is one that we were really excited to try out. We make Kabobs all of the time and lately, we were bored with them. You can use this dry rub to season chicken, pork, lamb or beef.

We decided to use it to season some pork along with some fresh veggies that we were using on our Kabobs. We just sprinkled it onto the veggies and rubbed it onto both sides of our pork and then placed them all onto our grilling skewers. We like to grill our Kabobs on a charcoal grill as it adds even more depth to the flavors. Once done, we dug in for dinner. At first we weren’t sure if we would like this dry rub but after tasting it, we were in heaven! It has a unique taste to it, flavorful with a little kick, nothing mouth-burning hot. A little bit of this dry rub goes a long way!
