A few weeks ago my husband had the great pleasure of reviewing a pair of men’s khaki pants from Lee and today, it is finally my turn! Lee has been one of my family’s favorite brands of clothing since the mid 1980’s because their clothing is extremely well-made, fashionable and affordable.
I have put on some weight since last fall from a medical condition that I suffer from. This weight gain has been really hard for me to adjust to and finding clothing that fits me and is comfortable, is even harder!
The great folks over at Lee sent me their Perfect Fit Mila Bootcut Jeans to review for all of you. The jeans are available in 3 different denim colors and I selected the Nile color which is a deeper denim blue. These are stretchy jeans so they are built for comfort and fit with being made of 85% cotton, 14% polyester and 1% spandex.
They have your classic 5-pocket styling with the 2 back pockets having a button & flap closure (buttons are functional). They feature a zipper fly, belt loops around the waist and the button & rivets are done in a pretty bronze tone.
Regarding the fit, they hug your body nicely without being too tight. They sit just below your natural waistline, cut nicely through the butt and thighs and have the classic bootcut cut throughout the legs. The jeans contain Lee’s Shapetastic compression mesh panel which means your seat and tummy will look better than ever. Trust me, at the age of 45 and with this weight gain, I need all the help I can get!
If you ask me…these jeans are absolutely perfect! They fit me perfectly in the waist, the butt, the hips and in the length…just perfect! I feel like they were custom-made just for me and that I spent hundreds of dollars on them! When ordering them for yourself, I do suggest that you stay true to your natural jeans size, don’t size up or down from the size you normally wear.
I think these jeans make me look a lot thinner than what I really am and that is a fabulous thing! In addition, I can hop onto the floor & play with my grand daughter and feel comfortable while wearing them. They stretch & move with you! Seriously, I could sleep in these jeans, they are indeed that comfortable!
I have been searching for the perfect jeans for my new body shape for the past 10 months, finally, my patience has paid off and I now own the best denim jeans, EVER! I absolutely want a few more pairs of these fabulous Mila Bootcut Jeans!
