I love walking the beach and collecting various seashells for my collection and landscaping projects. Well, one evening we were out beach combing while on vacation and witnessed a gorgeous sunset! I took this photo while standing in the water (the ocean and shooting back towards the island, towards the mainland as the sun was setting).
I love sitting and watching the sunrises and sunsets when we are vacation down at the Jersey Shore and this one evening, it was particularly gorgeous for sure! Not only that, it was a great evening for shell collecting since it was low tide and that is the best time to snatch up seashells on the Atlantic Ocean coast. Wootwoot!
Let’s just say, I came home with 4 big grocery bags full of seashells this time around and most will be used in our front and back yards next spring when we finish up our landscaping project. Enjoy the photo!
I love the ocean and collecting seashells, too. I am so proud to know I am not the only one who comes home with bags of them. The picture is gorgeous!

The ocean is so gorgeous- I think this is what I most wish we lived closer to. When we have been around the ocean it has been heavenly, and I hope we get to go on another road trip just to put our toes in. When we last went I had bags and bags full of shells and they are in my yard now reminding me of those wonderful breezes.
I will share pics Sweetie D. I bleached a lot of them last week and then took a hammer to them. I am crushing them up along with tumbled sea stones and going to put them around some of our shrubs and rose bushes once bee gets the new edging up next spring.
Oh how I would love to be sitting and seeing this view. Its beautiful. I have never seen nor will I probably ever see the ocean or walked along collecting seashells but maybe one day I will do this.
