How many of you love to clean your house? The bathroom? The kitchen? I am sure many of you don’t enjoy cleaning anything at all! Well, I have a confession. I am a clean & neat freak and I am very particular about the cleaning products that I use in my home.
I was recently sent a twin-pack of Soft Scrub Total Household Cleaners to try out for all of you. With us being in the process of packing up and getting ready to move, I have a lot of things to clean! (and that is DOUBLE since I am cleaning our current house and the house we are moving into).
I received the Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaner and the Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner to try out for all of you. Before I tell you how I put these products to the test, I want to give you all a little information about them.
* These cleaners work upside down! You can use them to spray under ledges, in corners, under the toilet rim, etc. or spray them upright, the choice is yours!
* The trigger is super easy-to-use! You can set it to foam or to spray. Personally, I love the foam feature!
* The household cleaners are tough on stains and gentle on surfaces. I love that there is nothing abrasive in these cleaners.
* They clean and deodorize all in one simple step! You don’t need a slew of cleaning products when you use the Soft Scrub Total line of products.
First up, the Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaner! I gave this cleaner a big workout in my kitchen. My 27 year old daughter came up one evening to cook us dinner. She is an extremely messy cook and rarely cleans up after herself. Once she was done and left my counter-top, sink and stove a royal mess, I got out the all purpose cleaner and got busy! I set the trigger to foam and sprayed it onto my stove top, kitchen counter-tops, into my kitchen sink and into my microwave oven. I left the product sit for about 5 minutes and then used my microfiber cleaning cloth (dampened) to wipe everything down. Once I was done, I used another cleaning cloth (dampened) to just shine things up.
I was really impressed that the product didn’t stink or have any type of foul odor. There is fragrance but it’s a clean & fresh fragrance which is pleasant to smell. Daughter had my stove top a royal mess with baked on food and grease and the Soft Scrub cleaned it up quickly and easily. I didn’t have to waste hours cleaning my kitchen. Matter of fact, I was done in less than 15 minutes, tops!
Next up, the Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner! I gave this cleaner a big work out in both of our bathrooms. I am a “clean freak” and bathrooms usually get cleaned every 2-3 days here…but for the purpose of this review, I waited an entire 5 days before I tested out the product. I wanted my bathrooms to get nice & dirty so I could see how the product worked. I set the trigger to foam and then sprayed the product into my sinks, on my vanity tops, into the toilets and around the toilet rim & seat. I left it sit for about 5 minutes and then used a dampened clean sponge to wipe everything down. Once those areas were clean, I hit up my porcelain bathtub and sprayed it down. Waiting 10 minutes and then wiped it down and gave it a good rinse with clean water.
Again, I was super impressed with this product as it had no foul odors or fragrances to it. I love the “foam” setting as the product sticks to what you spray it on and doesn’t run all over the place. This is nice for getting under the toilet bowl rim, around your faucets and for doing your tub/shower walls. I had no streaking on any of my surfaces and no filmy residues. I love this product! Sorry about the “yellow-tones” with the guest bathroom photo, I have eco-friendly lighting in the bathroom which comes out yellowish on all my photos. Sorry!
I am super impressed with both Soft Scrub Cleaning Products and will definitely be adding them to my grocery store list. They made my cleaning tasks easy-to-do and I got my cleaning done in half the time! Fabulous stuff!
