Seeing Rock Bands in Concert – Toto

I’m in my mid 50’s and still enjoy going to rock concerts. I’m all about the late 1970’s, 1980’s and early 1990s rock music. I like soft to moderate rock. I’m not into heavy metal that much. Some of my favorite rock bands include: Van Halen, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Loverboy, Billy Idol, Police, Joan Jett, Journey, Toto, Kiss and others. 

These days…I’m finding it a little harder to go see some of my favorite rock bands. They go on tour less and less…and often play in smaller venues which doesn’t allow for a lot of people. On top of that…ticket prices are getting higher by the day. Going to see a group play can cost you hundreds of dollars just for a few hours of entertainment.

I believe musicians and all involved in the music industry deserve a fair wage and deserve to be paid. With that said…if you want your fans to come out to see you….be more accessible. Play in more venues and do what you can to keep those ticket prices down. The more affordable they are…the more fans will come out to see you perform. That’s the bottom line.
