New Refresh Wine by Turning Leaf

September 9, 2012 by Classystaff

When it is really hot out sometimes an icy cold beer is just the thing to go with a nice barbeque burger or ribs. Many other times a lovely glass of wine is just the right refreshment. This week is definitely a wine week as I have some delicious products to share with you. I was able to try out some fabulous new wine blends by Turning Leaf called Refresh, a beautiful light wine with a touch of fizz.

NEW Refresh by Turning Leaf
An entirely new style of wine with a light, fizzy body. As the name implies, Refresh is crafted to offer a refreshing wine experience and it is a great alternative when heavier wines just won’t do.

Refresh comes in three flavors:
Moscato: Perfect for spicy or creamy foods or desserts
Red Moscato: A match for burgers, ribs or other meats grilled meats
Crisp White: Complements fried/roast chicken, salads and other savory foods

Moscato Refresh by Turning Leaf
Lighter in style than traditional still versions. It features aromatic floral notes with a citrus and orange blossom taste. From salsas to wings, the sweeter flavor and cooling fizz will provide a tasty balance to spicy foods. It’s also a great match for creamy cheeses, as well as desserts, such as red velvet cake or brownies.

Try pairing this wine with burgers or hot dogs fresh off the grill. The red fruit notes, refreshing fizz and crisp finish offers everything you love in red wine, but in an even more refreshing sip than a traditional still wine or even a beer or a cocktail. The Red Moscato offers peach and floral notes with layers of fresh red fruits and a crisp finish.

Crisp White Refresh by Turning Leaf
This crisp wine is filled with the flavor of ripe golden delicious apples and lemon citrus. From salads to roast or fried chickens, this versatile wine pairs well with a variety of savory foods.

I was able to check out all three wines for you and trust me, it was a tough job! Tough in that all there of these wines are so refreshing and full of flavor! I had some friends over last weekend for some BBQ steak and ribs and so I thought it would be an awesome time to sample out these wines.

Personally, I always go for the White first as that is my favorite, so I tried that one first and worked my way through the others. My impressions of the white are positive of course. This White is actually a bit on the dry side and it is full of fruit flavor. It was very good and it was well received by everyone that tried it.

Next we tried the White Moscato. This is a sweeter wine, loaded in yummy fruit flavor. I love the bit of fizz. It is just enough to make this so light. I could drink this all day.

The Red Moscato is my favorite! Oh my goodness. This is so shocking to me but the delicate fruit flavor just comes right out in the beautiful blend of berries and fruits. I love sweeter wines and this is the bomb. The hint of fizz is just right.

Between all of my friends and my hubby, we agree that the Red Moscato is just loaded in delicious fruits and it creates an awesome flavor explosion. We love the White Moscato next with its awesome fruit and citrus flavors and the regular white is great for those that love a bit drier wine but yet a delicious fruit taste.

The best part of these wines is that they are not overly heavy so you feel like you can drink them any time. They are perfect for a get together of any type, with friends or just right for a nice cocktail before or with dinner or even with a big old BBQ. Seriously, next time you are looking for a simple and affordable wine blend, give the Refresh line by Turning Leaf a try.
