Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Northwood Naturals who makes a line of natural skincare products and natural bath products. The company is a family owned & operated business based out of Northwood New Hampshire.
The company sent me a few products to try out for all of you and I was really excited to receive them. My skin has been a royal mess the past few weeks thanks to sun posioning and severe sunburn issues. It is itchy, dry and flaky…I can use all of the help I can get!
First up…the lovely Goat’s Milk Soaps! I received a bar of the Cranberry Cravings, a bar of Pumpkin and a bar of Maine Blueberry to try out for all of you. Here is some information about the soaps from the company’s web site:
“Goat milk is rich in proteins, vitamins, and minerals, nourishing to our bodies both inside and out. Our soaps contain not only local farm fresh Goat Milk but, the added benefit of Certified Organic Shea Butter, and Coconut Oil to make the most luxurious and creamy soap you’ll ever use.”
I decided to use the large bar of Cranberry Cravings Goat’s Milk Soap in my shower and let me tell you, this soap smells super good! A great soap for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. This soap just glides across the body and has a really nice lather to it. It is doing a great job at cleaning my skin and does NOT leave any soapy residue behind.
I received 2 travel bars of goat’s milk soap in the Pumpkin and the Main Blueberry scents and took those with me on vacation last week. Oh my gosh, I was in for a heavenly treat every night as I soaked in the tub and took my nightly bath. These soaps smell just as wonderful as the first one, have a beautiful lather and glide across the body. I forgot to pack my shaving gel so I used one of the bars as a shaving soap and it worked perfectly for that! My skin is doing a LOT better now that I am using these natural goat’s milk soaps!
I also received a 2 oz. tube of the Northwood Naturals Ever Moist All Natural Hand & Body Lotion to try out for all of you. This was also the perfect size for me to take with me last week on vacation. The sun, sand, salt air and pool water can be very harsh on sensitive skin so I knew a good natural body lotion would be needed. I started using the body lotion twice a day, every day for the entire week on vacation. I received the New England Shores scent and it is a very pure and clean smelling scent. I caught my hubby slapping this one on his body too…great unisex scent! After just one week, I saw a remarkable improvement in my skin! Seriously, my skin was feeling smooth and silky once again! Yeah!!!
