Now that hubby and I are back from vacation, we are looking to finish up our landscaping projects before fall really sets in. After all, no one likes to be outside working in the super cold weather.
We have been researching out all of the different landscape lighting options that are available to us and doing our research on installing landscape lighting around our home. We have a medium sized front yard but a really large back yard that we want to light up.
After we did our homework and put some thought into this, we decided to hire some professionals to come in and do the lighting for us. We would like to get some lighting up our main walkway to the front door, lighting up both sides of our driveway, lighting around all four sides of the house and then some lighting around certain trees, shrubs and the garden area.
Having good outdoor lighting around your home certainly increases your property value and makes your home a little bit more safer. Not only that, we do a lot of entertaining at our home and often times that entertaining is occurring during the evening and early nighttime hours. So, lighting is very important to us.
In the past we have used solar lighting but were often displeased with that because in the wintertime here in the North East, it is hard to get the proper sunlight to keep those solar lights going for long periods of time. This time around, we are going with professional electrical outdoor landscape lighting and we are pretty happy with our decision to do so.
