How many of you drive a KIA and/or big fans of KIA America? Well guess what? I have some great news to share with all of you!
One of the fastest growing automakers here in the country, KIA MOTORS AMERICA and DonorsChoose.org have formed a wonderful partnership that will benefit more than 125,000 public school students nationwide in 2012. This partnership is called KIA Corporate Social Responsibility.
As you all know, most of our public schools are in dire need and hurting badly with this downward spiral in our American economy. Our schools need our help and they need the help of company’s who do business here in America. We can all do our part and help out where we can!
If you are not familiar with DonorsChoose.org, they are an online charity that makes it super easy for anyone to help students in need. Well, DonorsChoose.org has partnered with KIA Motors America and a $1 million commitment has been made to help public schools nationwide.
The campaign that they launched together is called “Double Your Impact” and is designed to fund 50% of classroom projects near Kia’s network of more than 755 retail showcases across America. By matching community donations, Kia Motors America will bring more than $2 million of classroom projects to life! Wow, isn’t that cool? I think so!
Kia Motors is one of those respected companies who is striving to be a respected global corporate citizen and they want to help contribute to a better future for everyone. I really wish other corporations would strive for that too!
