Pomegranate Iced Green Tea Recipe by NECTRESSE
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Nectresse™ Sweetener for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Have any of you ever tried the NECTRESSE™Sweetener yet? My hubby and I were hearing a lot of great things about NECTRESSE and were super excited when we were given a chance to try it out for ourselves.
NECTRESSE is a 100% natural sweetener that is made from monk fruit extract and contains zero calories per serving! Wow! That is fabulous for those of us who are watching our weight and for those of us who want a natural sweetener.
NECTRESSE is made by the company who makes the popular Splenda sweetener, so you know that this sweetener has got to be good too! One of the things that interests us is that the NECTRESSE is 150 times sweeter than sugar, so a little bit of NECTRESSE goes a long way.
This is a very versatile natural sweetener that can be used in beverages, cooking and/or baking. Just about any recipe that calls for sugar, NECTRESSE can be used in! That is super cool if you ask me!
I had never heard of the monk fruit until now, but from what I read online, the monk fruit grows in abundance from hanging vines in Asia. The monk fruit is really in abundance over there and it is harvested for the NECTRESSE product. That extract is then combined with other natural sweeteners to make the perfect no calorie sweetener that is called NECTRESSE.
The natural sweetener is available in convenient single-serving packets for those of you who lead busy lifestyles and want to take it with you. You can also purchase it in easy-to-use canisters, which would be great for the office or your home kitchen. The product can be sprinkled, poured or spooned into/onto your favorite foods and beverages!
Lisa Ling is the NECTRESSE spokesperson and she has a lot of great things to say about it. I would love for you to listen to this video that Lisa Ling made. It’s a great video to help you learn more about this wonderful new product.
I went over to the NECTRESSE web site and took a look around. The web site has a lot of in-depth product information on it along with various recipes on how to use the NECTRESSE natural sugar product. It’s really a great site that is jam packed with useful information and yummy recipes.
I was recently sent a box of NECTRESSE to review and try out for all of you. Since hubby and I are both watching our weight and interested in incorporating a natural sugar into our diets, we were really excited to give the NECTRESSE product a try.
We found the Pomegranate Iced Green Tea recipe on their web site and decided to make that recipe since we are heavy iced tea drinkers. Here is the recipe from their site that we used, it’s really quick and easy to make!
Pomegranate Iced Green Tea Recipe by NECTRESSE
1 green tea, tea bag
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon Pomegranate juice
3 NECTRESSE Natural No-Calorie Sugar Packets
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon Pomegranate juice
3 NECTRESSE Natural No-Calorie Sugar Packets
Steep the tea bag in a mug full of hot water for 2 to 3 minutes. Discard the tea bag and stir in the remaining 3 ingredients. Pour tea over a mug or glass of ice and enjoy!

There was no funky after-taste and the product really dissolved smoothly, we were really surprised about that because most other sweeteners on the market that are no granulated sugar, seem to have a funky after-taste to them. Let me repeat, this product had NO funky after-taste and we really enjoyed using it!
How would you like to try out some NECTRESSE for yourself? Well you can! Have any of you tried this natural sweetener yet? If so, what did you think about it? Did you like it? How did you use it? Besides making iced tea, we also made a big pitcher of freshly squeezed lemonade and it was just as delicious in our lemonade as it was in our iced tea! Yeah!
