Nanny and Me Princess Play Dates

September 4, 2012 by Shelly

Princess Play DatesLast Saturday I had the great pleasure of hosting a Nanny and Me play date with my precious little grand daughter Gia. The theme for our play date was princess and barbie! She had a few of her little friends along with their moms or grandmoms come over to our house and we had a great time!

I served fancy cupcakes with sprinkles, doughnuts with sprinkles, candy and some beverages for the girls to snack on. The girls played Barbies and then settled down to watch a new DVD. While the girls (all preschoolers) were busy watching the DVD, the moms & grandmoms gave ourselves some pretty pedicures! hahaha!

What was really fun is that the girls, moms and grandmoms all sported around tiaras for the day and we all felt like pretty princesses! We had a fabulous time and I will be blogging about this party next week so keep your eyes open for that in-depth post here on our blog.

How many of you get together regularly with others for Mommy & Me or Nanny & Me play dates? I love doing them and try to do one every 6 weeks or so.

Your granddaughter is adorable. Unfortunately I have no little girls to spoil like princesses. The best I could do was sometimes spoil my friends’ little girls

Just adorable. What a wonderful day of memories you’ve created. We do movie night with the grandkids twice a month. Kids choice of movie, snacks and beverages and then play a board game.

She is cute as the dickens- and I bet these are memories that will last a lifetime for her 🙂 It sounds like a great time and some fun for all!
