As you all know, I am a grandmother to a 3 year old beautiful little girl. Our grand daughter Gia spends a lot of time at our house and that means a lot of her toys and games are here too! When she spends the night with us, she always looks forward to getting a bubble bath at Nanny’s house!
I admit, I do spoil my little grand daughter with a lot of toys and games, and bath tub toys are at the top of our list! For the past few months, I have been just tossing them into a bin on our bathroom floor. Well guess what? The great folks over at Boon have solved my disorganized bathroom toy mess!
The company sent us their Whale Pod bath tub toy organizer to review for all of you and it’s absolutely fantastic! It is made of durable hard plastic so it can stand up to the moisture that every bathroom has. It is an all-in-one storage unit! It will scoop up the toys, drain the water and store them all in one small compact unit.
It comes in basically two pieces! The top of the whale (the head) has a built-in shelf where you can store your child’s shampoo, conditioner and a bottle of bubble bath. The bottom portion (the whale’s body & tail) has drain holes so that when you place the tub toys inside, the water will drain away and they air dry nicely. The removable scoop (the whale’s body) is fabulous for scooping up the bath toys after play time or give your child the scoop portion to play with during their bath.
It comes with two different mounting options! You can use the peel & stick tape (included) or the 2 anchor screws (included). We decided to use the peel & stick tape since we will be moving soon to a new home. Once we get moved, hubby will use the mounting screws to mount it. The entire whale pod measures 16 1/5″ by 9 1/2″ by 6 1/5″ in depth.
In my opinion, this Boon Whale Pod is the perfect bath toy solution! I think it’s adorable to look at and it’s super functional! Now we don’t have bath toys all over our bathroom floor and they are staying dry in-between use. (that cuts down on mold & mildew). Our 3 year old grand daughter loves her new Whale Pod and I have to admit, I love it too!
