My daughter is getting married next summer and we are planning a huge wedding with around 600 guests for the big day. We are hosting a catholic wedding and a catholic reception and are going way out for her big day. We have been looking into various catering options and located Buckboard Catering & Events.
Since we are having a super large wedding reception, we decided to hire a professional catering company for these reasons:
* Stress – I will be super busy that day and the days leading up to it. I don’t need any added stress on me.
* Volume – There is no way that I can cook and bake enough food to feed over 600 people adequately.
* Variety of Foods – We realized that most catering companies offer a wide variety of foods that are cooked to perfection. They can offer many more gourmet menu choices than I could possibly offer if I had done this all myself.
* Work Load – I work long hours as it is and I want to enjoy time off the week leading up to the wedding and right afterwards. I would rather pay a professional company to do all of the work for me.
* Clean-up – The majority of catering companies handle all of the after-party clean-up which means I can relax and enjoy the day.
* Cost – We estimated all costs of us buying the food, beverages, dinnerware, party supplies, etc. and realized that we would actually be saving money by hiring the real professionals to take care of it.
After checking out some companies and looking at all of their catering services, we realized that they are much more affordable than we thought they would be. Furthermore, I am positive that their gourmet menu options and beverage choices would be a lot tastier than anything I could personally whip up.
Now that we have only 11 more months to go until the big day, I really need to get on-the-ball and get all of her wedding day arrangements made. Once the big day is over, hubby and I will be leaving on a Caribbean Cruise to just sit back and relax.
