K’NEX is a children’s toy company that I am very familiar with since I have many kids in my family who request that we purchase K’NEX brand construction and building toys, for their Birthday and Holiday gifts. I have purchased at least 20 sets of their fabulous building toys just in the past 2 years alone.
K’NEX has building toys for almost all of the age groups (Preschool up to Adult). Yes, even adults like my husband enjoy playing with the K’NEX line of toys! Furthermore, K’NEX is perfect for both boys and girls who love to construct and build things.
Our Review: We received the TinkerToy 78 Piece Vehicle Building Set to review for all of you. This building set is made for ages 3 and up, perfect for preschoolers and young children. The TinkerToy line of building sets is a classic and has been around since 1913. I can remember playing with TinkerToy when I was a small child too!
All of the pieces in this set are really built-to-last and appropriately sized for small hands. Our Little G is 3-years old and the set is absolutely perfect for her. The pieces easily snap together and stay together. The bendable rods are super fun too!
All of the pieces in this building set are packaged in a reusable container with lid, which is great for storing everything together. The set comes along with a colorful booklet that gives instructions/ideas for building 10 different things. Your child can build a sailboat, helicopter, trucks, etc. If your child is anything like our Little G, they will quickly come up with their own vehicle ideas & creations too!
Little G loves to build things so we own a lot of building sets that she plays with. This TinkerToy set is one of her favorites! There is so much she can do with this set and I don’t have to worry about her playing with it. A lot of sets are for ages 5 and up, but this one is for ages 3 and up…yeah!
Since receiving this set, it has become one of her favorites! Almost every time she visits my home, the TinkerToy set comes out! She loves to sit on the floor with her Pappy and build all kinds of fun things, she can literally sit and play with this set all day long if we left her! We give it a huge 2-thumbs up!
